Hey again. Could it be that I actually work on this website more than once a month?? Jonathan is getting ready to go India, Dillon is back in town, Donny is getting married, I'm back in school - Lots of new things going down recently. I added a couple projects to the site, my PA speakers and my solar powered stereo equipped bicycle. Of course there's not much content there yet, but its a hint. I also started work on getting all my MR2 pages converted to the new website format - page 1 of 20 is complete!... I also signed up for the UC Berkeley Ski and Snowboard Club, who seem to be able to get good discounts on snow related stuff. The season is coming up soon, are you ready?

Back from Tanzania, got some pictures to prove it. After some encouragement from Jonathan, I've decided to update some things around here. I'm back in class this semester; Assembly language programming and (don't laugh) Trigonometry. Both are lower level requirements for CE (computer engineering) degree programs at University. So far I'm on top of it, let me stop and pray for a minute that I can keep it up. In other news, I'm setting myself up a "Subversion" version-control server (similar to CVS), in order to make an organized effort with Louis on our almost-defunct programming project, Dualis... Oh, and last Friday I was at a crouded bar where girls were dancing up on the counter-top. I got up to join them, but the sexist bartenders made me get back down. Weak sauce.

Just over 5 weeks until we leave for Tanzania! I got six shots in my arm the other day, and as long as nobody with Hepatitis-B decides to bite me, I should be cool... I did the critical-mass ride in SF last weekend, and brought along my pimpin' gold solar-powered-stereo-equipped bicycle. I had it bumpin the dance tunes and hip-hop as Jonathan, Nick, Nick (yes both), and I cruised down Market street in a bike crowd stretching about two blocks long. When we made it around the side streets and up to the Castro, we had to hit up the liquor sto to get some fosters (Australian for beer) to keep us happy for the rest of the ride. Nick C. got attacked by some drunken angry Japanese businessmen, and Nick B. had his bike break down in a massive chain-reaction of broken parts. The party was not without it's hardships, but we perservered... In other news, I've been working on a musical device driven by the sound chip inside the old Commodore 64. With any luck I'll be able to drive a pair of these chips with a microcontroller, and then front them through a MIDI interface. There's a guy on the 'net with a very similar project, here's the link: http://buchi.dyndns.org/MonoVoice/default.asp Geez, it's so sunny outside, I wish I didn't have to work today! =/

Definitely been a while. I think I was having anxiety over the new web site's guts, and not having a decent image viewer on the Mac, like ACDSee over on the PC side. I changed the graphics, cause I can. As usual I have some more project stuff I need to post up here, hopefully in the next couple days or so. I hope everyone is doing okay!

We are all looking for a medium through which we can express ourselves, some way to bring out the pictures we visualize or the melodies we sing mentally, some way to make them real. A language that can reach within and reveal your inner emotions to those around you and to yourself. -A certain music book on my shelf with a very ugly cover
I'm here now, but where are you?
